She listened and learned what my preferences were in home features, location, and budget and helped guide me to options that I was able to review. She stayed on top of things even when I was abroad in London for 6 months and sent me some options and kept me in the loop. She even Facetimed with me to provide me virtual views of homes while I was away! When I decided to put the search on pause until I got back to the States, she completely understood and respected that and didn't pressure me at all. When I got back to the States and picked back up on house-hunting on fast-forward speeds, things got a little hairy on my end where I was getting frustrated with losing out on bids or finding homes with too many issues. I had to leave yet again to go abroad and had about a little less than 1.5 months to find a home before I left again. I definitely took out my frustrations on her and got testy and grumpy (and yelly and angry and batshit) with her, but she never once reacted equally. She was always the consummate professional and was sympathetic with my plight of being a nomad for so long. When I finally got a house, she made sure she was on top of all the details to expedite the process as much as she could. She followed up on all the paperwork and action items, and made sure it was arranged for my sister to have power of attorney to handle the final transaction. The house closed, my sister got the keys, and Cynthia was a sweetheart and left me flowers, a bottle of champagne, and a kind note congratulating me on getting the home after a long and arduous search. After this wonderful experience with Cynthia, I cannot say enough good things about her. She's sweet, honest, sympathetic, patient, hilarious, and down-to-earth.
